First of all, it is necessary to define a position of the author in relation to the hero. The understanding of this position will help you to define degree of its bias (as the biography is always biassed) and a vector of this bias. It is important also to try to understand, why the author concerns the hero so, instead of differently and other he in general writes the book about this character. Try to understand on the basis of the text not only the hero, but also the author.
Addressing to the character, to the hero of the biography allocate at first the basic lines of its character, a behaviour manner, its relation to surrounding people and the validity surrounding it. Then define turning points in its destiny, events which have changed his life and have made its person who has become history. Reflect, when it faced to the main choice in the life and, in your opinion, whether it has as a result made a correct choice.
Write, what character traits and acts of this person admire you and what cause condemnation. What exactly, in your opinion, has made its great person, the person creating history? What moment, what event are represented to his lives to you by the most brilliant?
Also do not forget to state your own relation to the character chosen by you. Why you have chosen its biography? It has made what impression on you? Dream up a little and present, whom, in your opinion, it could become, be it our contemporary.
Citations from the book are obligatory (do not forget, that each citation should be placed in inverted commas and is supplied by a footnote on page).
The volume is not an indicator of quality of work so do not pay to it the big attention. However, proceeding from practice, such work hardly can be located on 3-4 pages, and at the same time it is not necessary to inflate it till 20-30 pages.
